Statutory Reporting Manager

To provide support and meaningful analysis/insights on all regulatory submissions to BNM/LIAM including (but not limited to):

  • Policy Statistics

  • RBC solvency reporting

  • Reinsurance reporting

  • PAR Fund Management (including feasibility study on campaigns, refinements to internal bonus policy, policyholder communication projects, etc.)

  • Financial Condition Report

  • Internal Capital Adequacy Process

  • Overseeing annual experience study

  • Annual Audit Process

Process Enhancements

  • To strengthen the process flow for the departmental operations (including reinsurance workflow) by improving the controls, checks and documentation with appropriate sign-off.

  • Work with the team to streamline and automate process flow to improve efficiency while ensuring integrity and reliability of results.

Ad-hoc Projects

  • Provide insightful analysis on various management initiatives including but not limited to acquisition, computation of appraisal value, reviewing SAA, feasibility studies, etc.

  • Technical support on IFRS17 implementation such as working with IT on data requirements, reviewing and assessing gaps in MFRS17 and Group IFRS17, impact study, etc.

Integration Matters

  • Co-ordinate and support on integration projects to streamline overall process flow and create synergies across the teams. This includes developing best practice valuation controls and processes, developing insightful analysis tools, re-designing workflow, etc.


  • Groom and develop junior team members supporting organic development of in-house actuarial talents.
