Product Engineer – Requirements Engineer
Job Description
Develops high-level requirements for Nexteer’s Electric Power Steering systems. Responsible for authoring, allocating, and linking of requirements within EPS requirements hierarchy. Lead and participate in the requirements peer reviews.
Author requirements within assigned domain, based on allocated requirements from customer requirements
Participate in Requirements Compliance Matrix (RCM) reviews, supporting allocation of requirements to assigned domain
Derive requirements within assigned domain and allocate to lower areas of the Nexteer EPS requirements hierarchy
Ensure maintenance, revision control, and communication of assigned Nexteer domain requirements based on Nexteer change control practices
Lead and actively participate in peer reviews
Track, maintain, and report out on quality metrics
Accept other job responsibilities as required by supervisor
Maintain safety and good housekeeping.
Be able to call in the conference meeting in the nights.
Be adapting to business trips both domestic and overseas
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above in Electrical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
3 year above experience in design/development of electrical systems in hardware and/or software;
Good oral and written communication skills in English; can use clear & fluent English for complex and professional communication
Excellent organization and documentation abilities
Experience in Vehicle Electronics requirements analysis and/or design
Knowledge in vehicle dynamics and/or embedded system development
Experience for Requirements Compliance Matrix (RCM) creation/management and Requirement managements
Knowledge of Motor Control, Serial Communication
Experience in using DOORS and/or Raphsody;
Good understanding of V-Model
Fimiliar with Autosar is a plus
