Human Resource Assistant Manager

Client:

Established in 2001, our client is one of the leading independent boutique advisory firms licensed by the Securities Commission of Malaysia and has been consistently recognized for its track record by the industry. In 2004, the Group ventured into the property development scene and since then have successfully sold in excess of MYR1 billion of properties in Klang Valley. The Group also has investment arm primarily focuses on other equity investments.


Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of Human Resource administration and advice to ensure operational efficiency

  • Provide HR advice to the Management in the business to support good people management and deliver efficient HR services to all levels of staff

  • Assist in creating, implementing and advising on HR policies and procedures to ensure relevance and compliance

  • Update and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel information and employee handbook

  • Prepare employee communications such as appointment, confirmation, increment, promotion, transfer and other letters

  • Provide support and guidance to managers on annual performance appraisals, salary review and employee’s disciplinary issues.

  • Conduct and support orientation for new staff

  • Training and development analysis, review and arrangements

  • Payroll administration to 60 -70 staff

  • Handle Recruitment activities and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies for key specialty roles

  • Ad-hoc assignments as required by the business


Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business or HR related

  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience

  • Good knowledge of Malaysia’s Employment Act, labor laws and statutory rules and regulations

  • Able to multi-task, work independently in a fast-paced environment with good follow-up skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

  • Motivated individual with a positive and cheerful disposition

  • Analytical, thoughtful, resourceful, meticulous and confident
