Surgical Manager, Asia
Responsibilities
Develop the annual operational plan to achieve the pre-agreed objectives for sales revenue, market share, and profit.
Overall management and development of the Surgical sales organization. Establish key infrastructures and work processes to ensure effective sales management.
Direct staffing, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and career development planning for the team
Develop strong relationships with KOL for market development and brand endorsement.
Meet and exceed business goals to achieve maximum sales in Emerging Asia region
Attend regional professional trade shows and events and promote products to all customers
Responsible for interfacing with Regional Surgical Lifecycle representative to provide market insights to Global / Region, implementation of key campaigns, and communicate on the portfolio and marketing needs for the Emerging Asia market.
Conduct business in full compliance to Behavior in Business and Behavior in Competition
Qualification:
Bachelor or above degree in Medical Science, MBA is a plus.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organization skills
Strong Marketing knowledge and Finance Acumen
Good interpersonal skill and solid leadership foundation
Ability to coach the team to sell in a consultative manner such that the customer need is discovered and addressed in an individualized clinical and data-driven manner
Strong persuasiveness and influence skills required
Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific literature and use extensive and complex clinical data as a key factor in the sales process
Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies and procedures
Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years business operation experiences within Emerging Asia
Medical background/sales experience
Clinical product sales experience is a must and preferably in surgical market
History of successful product launch
Have strong ability of developing new accounts as well as distributor management
Familiar with the procedures of the Department of gynaecology and obstetrics is a plus
Strong ability for market analysis, make and develop sales strategy;Demonstrated good judgment and decision making capabilities
